Student Research Funding and Scholarships
Scholarships for undergraduate and graduate research are available through a number of different resources including university scholarships, governmental agencies as well as private foundations. Following are a number of different Scholarship and Research Funding & Scholarship resources:

- National Science Foundation
- Naval Research Enterprise Intern Program
- National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship Program
- Cal Poly Financial Aid Office
- Federal Application for Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Captains Preferred Products Annual Marine Science Scholarship
Funding is also available through the Biological Sciences Department for graduate and undergraduate research. Funds are awarded through an application process and are awarded to cover research costs as well as travel to attend scientific meetings where students can present their research.
