This program provides paid student work across CCMS, MSCI and Outreach activities for students that are from the priority foundation high schools and counties. The funds intent is to provide opportunities for students from these areas, regardless of their major, to engage in paid Marine Science and SRCF related activities.
This fund is also supporting two temporary positions at the Cal Poly Pier that ensure CCMS and MSCI curriculum, research, and student opportunities provide specific technical skills that are learned hands-on with state-of-the-art training and equipment.
