Instrumentation

Meteorological (MET) Station

Pictured below are the weather station, rain gauge, and data logger deployed atop the Cal Poly Center for Coastal Marine Sciences Pier. The MET station is fitted with instruments to measure wind speed and gust, air temperature, relative humidity, net radiation, sunshine duration, air pressure, visibility, wind direction, and rainfall.
