SCM x330 Ocean Discovery through Technology

Advances in technology are providing society with a new understanding of the ocean. Emphasis will be on the advances made in sensors and sensor platforms, such as ships, satellites, and underwater vehicles. An introduction to the marine science and current issues will provide context for the course. 3 lectures, 1 activity. Prerequisites: Completion of GE Area B and junior standing.
